Collection: Sounds of San Francisco

Sounds of San Francisco is a celebration of the city's living rhythm and the musicians who transform ordinary spaces into places of connection.

Art for music lovers, city explorers, and collectors who find beauty in everyday moments.

For more than a decade, I have wandered the streets of San Francisco with my camera, drawn again and again to the performers who create the city's soundtrack. A lone clarinetist in SOMA, the echo of steel drums in the Financial District, a guitarist filling a Muni station with warmth and melody—these are the moments that have shaped my experience of San Francisco.

Through layered mixed-media collage, I translate those auditory memories into visual form. Reclaimed paper becomes vibration, color becomes melody, and texture becomes the echo of a note drifting through the city air. Each piece celebrates the musicians whose creativity enriches public spaces and reminds us that art belongs to everyone.

The series is especially meaningful for collectors who love music, urban culture, and the stories that make cities unique. These works are created for homes, offices, studios, music rooms, and gathering spaces where people want to celebrate creativity, community, and the character of San Francisco.

Growing up with undiagnosed dyslexia taught me to experience the world differently. While others hurried through busy city streets, I often found meaning in the pauses, details, and moments between the beats. That perspective became the foundation of my creative practice. I listen with my eyes first.

Sounds of San Francisco is both a visual archive and a tribute: a record of the city's pulse, an acknowledgment of the artists who shape it, and an invitation to slow down and notice the beauty that surrounds us every day.
