About Dawn Leigh

Art is a second career for Dawn. However, art has been a lifelong passion.  She began as a self-taught artist in San Diego. She moved to the Bay Area in 2012 and has lived in San Francisco since 2015.  Dawn’s studio is located in the upper Tenderloin neighborhood in San Francisco.

Throughout the years, Dawn has produced a diverse portfolio of artwork.  Her work primarily representational and includes Watercolor, Acrylic paintings, drawings, and unique mediums.  Her primary interest has been depicting a wide range of subjects in an illustrative matter.

In February 2016, Dawn Leigh was named one of the Hidden Gems in the SF Bay Area and beyond. In 2017, she was chosen as one of the original Artist activator for CouterPulse

Dawn has a resume of solo and group exhibitions in San Francisco and the Bay
Area.  Her work has been acquired for the art collections of numerous private collections.
