Created from thousands of hand-cut pieces of reclaimed paper, each artwork honors marine life that thrives through persistence, adaptation, and interdependence. My connection to this work began along the North Coastal shores of San Diego, where I grew up immersed in a culture of environmental responsibility. Later, as someone who navigated undiagnosed dyslexia until my late twenties, I came to appreciate the power of steady progress over quick results. Like tides shaping stone or sea turtles crossing vast oceans, meaningful journeys often unfold through patience, persistence, and trust in the process.

Tide Keepers honors that philosophy.
