2025 Ocean III Artist Residency

Endorsed by UNESCO’s United Nations Ocean Decade

Dawn Leigh was selected as one of the international artists for the Ocean III 2025 Virtual Artist Residency, a program dedicated to fostering creative collaborations between artists and the ocean. This year’s residency is endorsed as an official activity of UNESCO’s United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.

Through this residency, Dawn is developing her new series, “Tide Keepers,” which explores themes of environmental vulnerability, ocean conservation, and the enduring beauty of marine life using reclaimed magazines and paper.
