Resilience brings together two seastars — one radiant gold, one deep violet — resting among textured rock and intertidal life. Their forms intertwine without overpowering one another, suggesting coexistence, adaptation, and quiet strength.

Created with layered, repurposed materials and hand-painted details, the surface conveys both tactile richness and an environmental narrative. The surrounding tide pool textures reflect the complexity of marine ecosystems—fragile, interconnected, and enduring.

Part of the Tide Keepers series, this work examines survival and regeneration in shifting coastal systems. Seastars, known for their regenerative ability, become a symbol of persistence — of rebuilding, rebalancing, and continuing forward.
